• All of Us Strangers: a new romantic fantasy film written and directed by Andrew Haigh, and loosely based on the 1987 novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada. The film stars Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell, and Claire Foy. It is the second film adaptation of the novel, after the 1988 Japanese film The Discarnates directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi. We follow Adam who has an encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry, which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this year, and is releasing in theatres on January 26, 2024.
• Upload season 3: the third season of the science fiction comedy-drama series created by Greg Daniels. Robbie Amell is back as Nathan Brown, who was uploaded to the digital afterlife Lakeview. Also back are Andy Allo, Allegra Edwards, Zainab Johnson, Kevin Bigley, and Josh Banday. Season 3 picks up where Season 2 ended, with Nathan and Nora now officially in a romantic relationship after he was downloaded back in the real world. They will continue to try and stop everything happening with Freeyond before it causes irreparable damage to millions. As if that weren't enough, Nathan's download could take his life at any moment. Meanwhile, a backup Nathan resides in Lakeview, an opportunity Ingrid seizes, hoping for a second chance at their relationship. The third season of the series is premiering on Amazon Prime Video on October 10 with the two first episodes and two episodes releasing weekly.
• Doom Patrol final episodes: the final episodes of Doom Patrol are finally coming and we got a first trailer with the release date for it. This second part of season 4 of the DC superhero series, developed by Jeremy Carver, is based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. Our members of the Doom Patrol are all back which include Jane (Diane Guerrero), Rita Farr (April Bowlby), Vic Stone (Joivan Wade), Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer / Matthew Zuk), Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser / Riley Shanahan), and Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez). We will follow our heroes from the Doom Patrol one more time while they have to work together once more to save the world from Immortus and the Buttpocalypse. After having to wait a while for this second part (the first part concluded in January this year) this second part, which is the very last one, is premiering on HBO Max in the US on October 12 with the first two episodes, and the rest releasing weekly until the series concludes on November 9. In other countries, like in Belgium, the episodes are releasing on Streamz.
• Down Low: a new comedy film directed by Rightor Doyle, from a screenplay by Lukas Gage and Phoebe Fisher. It stars Zachary Quinto, Lukas Gage, Simon Rex, Audra McDonald, and Judith Light. We follow an unlikely friendship between a repressed middle-aged gay man and a young masseur, and all the lives they ruin along the way. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest earlier this year and is releasing in theatres on October 10.
• Fingernails: a new science fiction romance film written and directed by Christos Nikou. The film stars Jessie Buckley, Riz Ahmed, Jeremy Allen White, Annie Murphy and Luke Wilson. It follows a woman who begins working at an institute that works to determine if the romance in a given couple is genuine. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and is releasing in limited theaters on October 27 before streaming on Apple TV+ on November 3.

• Totally Killer: a new comedy horror film directed by Nahnatchka Khan from a screenplay by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver and Jen D'Angelo. It stars Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Holt, Julie Bowen, and Randall Park. We follow Jamie whose mother’s friends were murdered by the Sweet Sixteen Killer on Halloween in 1987. She travels back in time to 1987 where she pairs up with her mom to stop the young would-be-killer and get back to her timeline before she's trapped in the past forever. Totally Killer is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on October 6.
• The Fall of the House Usher: a new gothic horror drama miniseries created by Mike Flanagan which is loosely based on the short story of the same name and other works by Edgar Allan Poe. It follows the CEO of a corrupt pharmaceutical company who faces his questionable past when his children start dying in mysterious and brutal ways. Starring in the miniseries are Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Zach Gilford, Mary McDonnell, Willa Fitzgerald, Carl Lumbly, Malcolm Goodwin, Samantha Sloyan, T'Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, and Mark Hamill. The miniseries is releasing on Netflix on October 12.
• Pet Sematary: Bloodlines: a new supernatural horror film directed by Lindsey Anderson Beer, who co-wrote it with Jeff Buhler. Serving as a prequel to Pet Sematary (2019), which in turn was based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Stephen King, the film stars Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LaBlanc, Samantha Mathis, Pam Grier and David Duchovny. Set in 1969, 50 years before the events of the previous film, the plot follows a young Jud Crandall as he discovers a local cemetery where the dead can live again, without imagining the horror that will affect his life. The film is releasing on Paramount+ on October 6.
• Killers of the Flower Moon: another new trailer was released for this new epic Western crime drama film directed and co-produced by Martin Scorsese, who co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Roth, based on the 2017 book of the same name by David Grann. The film centers on a series of Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation during the 1920s, committed after oil was discovered on tribal land. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone. It marks the sixth feature film collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio and the tenth between Scorsese and De Niro. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and is releasing in select theaters on October 6 before a wide release on October 20.
• Trolls Band Together: the new computer-animated musical comedy film based on the Good Luck Trolls dolls from Thomas Dam which serves as the sequel to Trolls World Tour (2020), and the third installment in the Trolls franchise. The film is directed by Walt Dohrn and co-directed by Tim Heitz. Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Icona Pop, Anderson .Paak, Ron Funches, Kenan Thompson, Kunal Nayyar, and Walt Dohrn reprise their voice roles from its predecessors, with newcomers Eric André, Kid Cudi, Daveed Diggs, Troye Sivan, Camila Cabello, Amy Schumer, Andrew Rannells, RuPaul, and Zosia Mamet joining the ensemble voice cast. In the film, Poppy and Branch, who are officially a couple, attempt to rescue Floyd while reuniting Branch's brothers after the boyband phenomenon, BroZone, was disbanded. This film also marks the return of boyband NSYNC who came back together and made an original song for the film, called ‘Better Place’. The film is releasing in theatres on November 17.
• Lessons in Chemistry: a new drama miniseries developed by Lee Eisenberg based on the novel of the same name by Bonnie Garmus. It stars Brie Larson in the lead role as Elizabeth Zott, a female scientist in the 1960s who, after being fired from her own lab, uses her new job hosting a TV cooking show to educate housewives on scientific topics. Also starring are Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Patrick Walker, Thomas Mann, Kevin Sussman, Beau Bridges, Ashley Monique Clark and Derek Cecil. The miniseries is premiering on Apple TV+ on October 13 with the first two episodes.
• Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom: the new superhero film based on the DC character Aquaman which is the sequel to Aquaman (2018), and the 15th and final installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film is directed by James Wan from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. It stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman alongside Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman. This sequel is set several years after the events of the first film and follows Arthur Curry / Aquaman who is forced to protect Atlantis and his loved ones from devastation after an ancient power is unleashed by David Kane / Black Manta obtaining the cursed Black Trident. The film is releasing in theatres on December 20.
• The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes: the new dystopian science fiction action film directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Michael Lesslie and Michael Arndt. It is based on the 2020 novel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins, serves as a prequel to The Hunger Games (2012), and is the fifth installment in The Hunger Games film series. The film stars Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Jason Schwartzman, and Viola Davis. Set 64 years before the events of the first film, we follow a young Coriolanus Snow and the events that eventually lead him on the path to becoming the tyrannical leader of Panem, including his relationship with the Hunger Games tribute Lucy Gray Baird during the year of the 10th Hunger Games. The film is releasing in theatres on November 17.

• No One Will Save You: a new mystery thriller horror film written and directed by Brian Duffield and starring Kaitlyn Dever in the lead role as Brynn Adams, a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, she finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up, until she's awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders. What follows is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past. The film is releasing in the US on Hulu on September 22 and will air on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in other territories on the same day.
• American Horror Story Delicate: the twelfth season of the horror anthology series American Horror Story, subtitled Delicate. It’s based on Danielle Valentine's book Delicate Condition. Series regulars Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Denis O'Hare, and Leslie Grossman and newcomers Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez star in the season, with Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A'zion, Julie White, Debra Monk, Dominic Burgess, and Zachary Quinto appearing in recurring roles. The season is premiering on FX on September 20, and will be split into two parts.
• Everything Now: a new comedy drama series produced by Left Bank Pictures and written by Ripley Parker. It stars Sophie Wilde, Lauryn Ajufo, Jessie Mae Alonzo, Stephen Fry and Vivienne Acheampong. We follow Mia, a 17-year-old London girl who rejoins sixth form after a hospital stay caused by anorexia nervosa. The series is premiering on Netflix on October 5.
• The Bikeriders: a new drama film written and directed by Jeff Nichols. It tells a fictional story inspired by the 1967 photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon and stars an ensemble cast that includes Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, and Norman Reedus. The Bikeriders premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, and is releasing in theatres on December 1.
• Lupin Part 3: the third part of the French mystery thriller series created by George Kay and François Uzan. It stars Omar Sy in the lead role as Assane Diop, a man who is inspired by the adventures of master thief Arsène Lupin, a character created by Maurice Leblanc in the early 1900s. In this third part he will have to stay away from the feds who are after him. But when something happens to one of his loved ones, he has to steal something expensive once more. Part 3 of Lupin is releasing on Netflix on October 5.
• Gen V: the new superhero series, developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke, which is serving as a spin-off of The Boys by Kripke, and based on The Boys comic book story arc ‘We Gotta Go Now’ by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, Derek Luh, London Thor, Asa Germann, Shelley Conn, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Some actors from The Boys are also making an appearance in the series including Jessie T. Usher as Reggie Franklin / A-Train, Jensen Ackles as Ben / B.C.L. RED / Soldier Boy and Chace Crawford as Kevin Moskowitz / The Deep. The series, set concurrently with the fourth season of The Boys, is premiering on Amazon Prime Video on September 29.

• Spy Kids Armageddon: a new spy action comedy film co-produced and directed by Robert Rodriguez, who co-wrote it with Racer Max. It is the fifth installment in the Spy Kids film series. The film stars Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Everly Carganilla, and Connor Esterson. IT follows the Tango-Torrez family with the parents being spies and the kids finding that out when their parents are being kidnapped. The kids must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world. Spy Kids: Armageddon will be released on Netflix on September 22.
• The Royal Hotel: a new psychological thriller film directed by Kitty Green, who co-wrote the screenplay with Oscar Redding. It stars Julia Garner, Jessica Henwick, Toby Wallace, and Hugo Weaving. The film is inspired by the 2016 documentary Hotel Coolgardie by Pete Gleeson and follows two young backpackers, Hanna and Liv, who take jobs at The Royal Hotel, an Australian Outback bar ran by Billy. The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, it also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and is releasing in theatres on October 6.
• Nyad: a new biographical sports drama film directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, from a screenplay written by Julia Cox. It stars Annette Bening as swimmer Diana Nyad, alongside Jodie Foster and Rhys Ifans. The film is Vasarhelyi and Chin's narrative feature directorial debut and is based on Nyad's autobiography Find a Way. The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and is releasing in select theaters on October 20, before streaming on Netflix on November 3.
• Quiz Lady: a new comedy film directed by Jessica Yu and written by Jen D'Angelo. The film stars Sandra Oh, Awkwafina, Jason Schwartzman, Tony Hale, Holland Taylor, and Will Ferrell; who is also producing with Jessica Elbaum. Quiz Lady premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is releasing on Hulu in the US on November 3.
• Monarch Legacy of Monsters: a new ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ spin-off series created by Chris Black, who also developed it with Matt Fraction. It’s the sixth installment and the second television series in the MonsterVerse franchise. It follows members of the organization Monarch as they encounter Godzilla and other Titans over the span of a half century. The series stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is premiering on Apple TV+ on November 17.
• Origin: a new biographical drama film written and directed by Ava DuVernay. It is based upon Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson. It stars Aunjanue Ellis as Isabel Wilkerson, alongside Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Audra McDonald, Niecy Nash-Betts, Nick Offerman and Blair Underwood. Origin was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, where it premiered on September 6. The film is releasing in theatres in late 2023.

• Maestro: a new biographical drama film that centers on the relationship between American composer Leonard Bernstein and his wife Felicia Montealegre. It was directed by Bradley Cooper, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Josh Singer, and produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Bradley Cooper, among others. The film stars Carey Mulligan as Montealegre and Cooper as Bernstein. Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, and Sarah Silverman also star in the film. Maestro is set to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, where it will compete for the Golden Lion on September 2. The film is scheduled for limited theatrical release on November 22, before streaming on Netflix on December 20.
• My Animal: a new supernatural horror romance film directed by Jacqueline Castel in her feature directorial debut, and written by Jae Matthews. Starring Bobbi Salvör Menuez and Amandla Stenberg, the film follows a woman who is forced by her overbearing parents to keep her lycanthropy a secret, until she begins to fall in love with a figure skater. My Animal had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and is releasing in select theaters on September 8.
• She Came To Me: a new romantic comedy film written and directed by Rebecca Miller. It stars Peter Dinklage, Marisa Tomei, Joanna Kulig, Brian d'Arcy James, Anne Hathaway, Harlow Jane and Evan Ellison. It follows composer Steven Lauddem who is creatively blocked and unable to finish the score for his big comeback opera. At the behest of his wife Patricia, he sets out in search of inspiration. The film had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival and is releasing in theatres on September 29.
• Cassandro: a new biographical drama film directed by Roger Ross Williams, in his narrative directorial debut, from a screenplay by Ross Williams and David Teague. It stars Gael García Bernal, Roberta Colindrez, Perla De La Rosa, Joaquín Cosío, Raúl Castillo, El Hijo del Santo and Bad Bunny. Set In the early 1980s, we follow gay wrestler Saúl Armendáriz who lives in El Paso, Texas, and regularly crosses the border to Ciudad Juárez in Mexico to participate in lucha libre wrestling matches. He wrestles as El Topo until he meets a new trainer who suggests he should compete as an exótico, leading to his new identity and increasing success as Cassandro. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and is releasing in a limited release on September 15, prior to streaming via Amazon Prime Video on September 22.
• Rebel Moon: the upcoming epic space opera film directed by Zack Snyder from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, based on a story Zack Snyder also created. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Cleopatra Coleman, Jena Malone, Fra Fee, Ed Skrein, and Anthony Hopkins. Rebel Moon is split in two parts with part 1, named A Child of Fire, releasing on Netflix on December 22, with also a limited theatrical release being planned. A follow-up, Rebel Moon: Part Two – The Scargiver, is set for release on April 19, 2024.
• The Marsh King’s Daughter: a new psychological thriller film directed by Neil Burger and written by Elle Smith and Mark L. Smith, based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Karen Dionne. It stars Daisy Ridley, Ben Mendelsohn, Garrett Hedlund, Caren Pistorius, Brooklynn Prince, and Gil Birmingham. It follows a young mother who is forced to confront her long-buried past as the child of a vicious kidnapper and the girl he held captive for twelve years when her father breaks out of prison. Convinced that he intends to take her daughters, she sets out to track down and kill him herself. The film is releasing in theatres on October 6.
• Flora and Son: a new musical comedy-drama film written and directed by John Carney, featuring original songs by John Carney and Gary Clark. The film stars Eve Hewson, Jack Reynor, Orén Kinlan, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It follows Flora, a single mother living in Dublin, who is having trouble with her estranged son Max, a rebellious teenage petty thief. Encouraged by the Gardaí to find Max a hobby, Flora rescues an old guitar from a skip and, with the help of a Los Angeles-based online guitar teacher, discovers that one person's rubbish can be another person's salvation. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is releasing in select cinemas in the US on September 22, followed by a wide release in Ireland on February 23, 2024. It will stream on Apple TV+ worldwide on September 29.

• Cat Person: a new black comedy psychological thriller film directed by Susanna Fogel from a screenplay by Michelle Ashford, based on the 2017 short story of the same name by Kristen Roupenian. The film stars Emilia Jones, Nicholas Braun, Geraldine Viswanathan, Hope Davis, Fred Melamed, and Isabella Rossellini. It follows college student Margot who has a brief relationship with Robert, an older man who frequently visits the movie theater where she works. Things get dark when Margot is not interested in continuing the relationship with Robert. Cat Person premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is releasing in theatres on October 6.
• Foe: a new science fiction psychological thriller film directed by Garth Davis, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Iain Reid, based on Iain Reid's 2018 novel of the same name. It stars Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal and Aaron Pierre. It follows the lives of a married couple who are turned upside down when a stranger arrives at their farm and informs the husband he will be sent to a large space station, and his wife will be left in the company of someone else. The film is premiering at the New York Film Festival, before it is released by Amazon Studios on October 6.
• Rustin: a new biographical drama film directed by George C. Wolfe with a screenplay by Julian Breece and Dustin Lance Black from a story by Breece. Produced by Barack and Michelle Obama's production company Higher Ground Productions, the film revolves around the life of gay civil rights activist Bayard Rustin, who helped Martin Luther King Jr. and others organize the 1963 March on Washington. It stars Colman Domingo in the title role, alongside Chris Rock, Glynn Turman, Aml Ameen, CCH Pounder, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Michael Potts, Bill Irwin, Jeffrey Wright and Audra McDonald. The film is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and is later scheduled to be released in theaters on November 3, and to premiere on Netflix on November 17.
• The Killer: a new psychological action thriller film directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker. It is based on the French graphic novel series of the same name written by Alexis "Matz" Nolent and illustrated by Luc Jacamon. The film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular assassin who gets embroiled in an international manhunt after a hit goes wrong. Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell, Kerry O'Malley, Sala Baker, Sophie Charlotte, and Tilda Swinton also star in the film. The Killer will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival this weekend on September 3 and is scheduled to begin a limited theatrical release on October 27 before streaming on Netflix on November 10.
• The Book of Clarence: a new epic biblical comedy drama film written and directed by Jeymes Samuel. It stars LaKeith Stanfield, Omar Sy, Anna Diop, RJ Cyler, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodard, Teyana Taylor, Caleb McLaughlin, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, James McAvoy, and Benedict Cumberbatch. It follows a man named Clarence living in 29 A.D. Jerusalem, who looks to capitalize on the rise of Jesus Christ. The film is releasing in theatres on January 12, 2024.
• Saltburn: a new psychological thriller drama film written, directed and produced by Emerald Fennell. It stars Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi, Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe and Carey Mulligan. Set in the mid-2000s, it follows a young college student who becomes infatuated with his aristocratic schoolmate and his wealthy but eccentric family. Saltburn had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on August 31 and is releasing in limited theatres on November 24 before expanding wide on December 1.
• Ferrari: a new biographical drama sports thriller film directed by Michael Mann and written by Troy Kennedy Martin about Enzo Ferrari, the Italian founder of the car manufacturer Ferrari. It is based on the 1991 biography Enzo Ferrari: The Man and the Machine by motorsport journalist Brock Yates. It stars Adam Driver in the lead role as Enzo Ferrari alongside Penelope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Gabriel Leone, Sarah Gardon, Jack O’Connell and Patrick Dempsey. The film was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival, where it premiered on August 31, and it’s releasing in theatres on December 25.

• I Am Groot season 2: the second season of the animated series following Groot. Created by Kirsten Lepore, this second season consists of five other short episodes just like the first season. We follow Baby Groot on various adventures that get him into trouble. Vin Diesel reprises his role as the voice of Baby Groot from the MCU films. The second season of the series will be released on Disney+ on September 6.
• The Kill Room: a new dark comedy thriller film directed by Nicol Paone and written by Jonathan Jacobson. It stars Uma Thurman, Joe Manganiello, Maya Hawke, Debi Mazar, Dree Hemingway and Samuel L. Jackson. In the film the art world meets the underworld when a money-laundering scheme accidentally turns a hitman into an overnight avant-garde sensation. The film is releasing in theatres on September 28.
• Fair Play: a new erotic thriller film written and directed by Chloe Domont. It stars Phoebe Dynevor and  Alden Ehrenreich as couple Emily and Luke who are newly engaged. When a coveted promotion at a cutthroat financial firm arises, supportive exchanges between the lovers begin to sour into something more sinister. As the power dynamics irrevocably shift in their relationship, Luke and Emily must face the true price of success and the unnerving limits of ambition. The film is releasing in select theatres on September 29 and on Netflix on October 13.
• The Changeling: a new horror fantasy series created by Kelly Marcel and directed by Melina Matsoukas based on the novel of the same name by Victor LaValle. It stars LaKeith Stanfield, Adina Porter, Clark Backo and Samuel T. Herring.We follow Apollo Kagwa who goes in search of his wife after she does something horrific in the aftermath of the birth of their first child. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on September 8 with the first three episodes.
• The Continental: a new crime drama miniseries developed by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward and Shawn Simmons that serves as a prequel spin-off in the John Wick franchise. Greg Coolidge and Kirk Ward also write and serve as showrunners for the series. Starring in the series are Colin Woodell, Mel Gibson, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, and Peter Greene. The series is premiering on Peacock in the United States on September 22.
• You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah: a new comedy drama film directed by Sammi Cohen from a screenplay by Alison Peck, and produced by Adam Sandler. Based on the 2005 young adult novel of the same name, the film stars Sunny Sandler, Samantha Lorraine, Idina Menzel, Jackie Sandler, Adam Sandler, Sadie Sandler, Dylan Hoffman, Sarah Sherman, Dan Bulla, Ido Mosseri, Jackie Hoffman, and Luis Guzmán. It tells the story of two best friends whose bat mitzvah plans get affected by a popular boy that they fight for the attention of. The film is releasing on Netflix on August 25.

• Migration: a new computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by Benjamin Renner, co-directed by Guylo Homsy, and written by Mike White. The film features the voices of Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key, David Mitchell, Carol Kane, Casper Jennings, Tresi Gazal, and Danny DeVito. The story follows a family of mallards as they go on a vacation of a lifetime and attempt to migrate from New England, through New York City, and to Jamaica. The film is releasing in theatres on December 22.
• A Haunting in Venice: the upcoming mystery horror film directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie. The film is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Death on the Nile (2022). Branagh reprises his role as Hercule Poirot, alongside Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Michelle Yeoh. It follows Hercule Poirot, now retired, who must solve the murder of a guest at a séance he attended. A Haunting in Venice is releasing in theatres on September 15.
• Gran Turismo: a new biographical coming-of-age sports drama film directed by Neill Blomkamp. The film is based on the video game series of the same name developed by Polyphony Digital, while inspired by the true story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage Gran Turismo player aspiring to be a race car driver. It stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou. The film is releasing in theatres on August 11.
• Winning Time season 2: the second season of the comedy drama sports series created by Max Borenstein and Jim Hecht, and based on the book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s by Jeff Pearlman. The first season focused on the 1979-1980 NBA season, Jerry Buss' first as owner and Magic Johnson's rookie year. This second season continues the story and takes place between 1980 and 1984. Most of the cast is reprising their roles including John C. Reilly, Quincy Isaiah, Jason Clarke, Jason Segel, Gaby Hoffmann, Rob Morgan, and Adrien Brody. The second season of the series is premiering on HBO on August 6.
• One Piece: a new live-action adaptation of the ongoing 1997 Japanese manga series of the same name by Eiichiro Oda.  The series features an ensemble cast including Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar. It follows the adventures of the fugitive Straw Hat Pirates, as they explore the dangerous oceans, lands and beyond in search of the "One Piece", a fabled treasure that will make their captain The King of the Pirates. The series is releasing on Netflix on August 31.
• Heartstopper season 2: the second season of the British coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama series written and created by Alice Oseman, and based on her webcomic and graphic novel of the same name. The series tells the story of Charlie Spring, a gay schoolboy who falls in love with classmate Nick Nelson, whom he sits next to in his new form. It also explores the lives of their friends Tao, Elle, Tara and Darcy. It stars Joe Locke, Kit Connor, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, and Kizzy Edgell. In this second season Charlie and Nick are together and we follow them as they go on a trip to Paris. The second season of the series is releasing on Netflix on August 3.
• Only Murders in the Building season 3: the third season of the mystery comedy-drama series created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. The plot follows three strangers played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, with a shared interest in true crime podcasts who team up to investigate a death in the apartment building they all live in. In this third season they are joined by Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep. In this season they have to solve the murder of one of the actors of the theatre piece that was going to happen at the end of the second season. The third season of the series is premiering on Hulu on August 8.
• Gen V: a new superhero series developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke, serving as a spin-off of The Boys, and based on The Boys comic book story arc “We Gotta Go Now” by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, Derek Luh, London Thor, Asa Germann, Shelley Conn, Jason Ritter, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. It also guest stars some people from The Boys including Jessie T. Usher, Claudia Doumit and Jensen Ackles. In the series we follow young adult superheroes, or ‘supes’, who are tested in battle royal challenges at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, run by Vought International. The series, set concurrently with the fourth season of The Boys, is premiering on Amazon Prime Video on September 29.
• The Marvels: the upcoming MCU superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel. It’s the sequel to the film Captain Marvel and a continuation of the television series Ms. Marvel and WandaVision. The film is directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon. In the film, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan begin swapping places with each other every time they use their powers and must team-up. The film is releasing in theatres on November 10.
• Loki season 2: the second season of the superhero series created by Michael Waldron and based on Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki, alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Jonathan Majors, and Neil Ellice. Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Ke Huy Quan are joining the second season. After the first season ends with the timeline breaking and the creation of a multiverse, the second season shows Loki teaming up with Mobius M. Mobius, Hunter B-15, and other TVA agents in a battle for the soul of the TVA. This includes a search through the multiverse for Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer, and Miss Minutes. The second season of the series is premiering on Disney+ on October 6.

• Wonka: a new musical fantasy film directed by Paul King, who co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Farnaby. It serves as a prequel to the 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory which was based on the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The film stars Timothée Chalamet in the titular role of Willy Wonka, following his early days as an unusual chocolatier. Also starring are Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Tom Davis, Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant. The film is releasing in theatres on December 15.
• Blue Beetle: the upcoming DC superhero film based on the DC Comics character Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle directed by Angel Manuel Soto. The film stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle alongside Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Elpidia Carrillo, Bruna Marquezine, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, and George Lopez. It follows Jaime Reyes who is chosen to become a symbiotic host to the Scarab, an ancient alien biotechnological relic that grants him a powerful exoskeleton armor, turning him into the superhero Blue Beetle. The film is releasing in theatres August 18.
• Painkiller: a new drama limited series created by Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster. The six-episode series, which is based on Patrick Radden Keefe's New Yorker article ‘The Family That Built an Empire of Pain’ and Pain Killer: An Empire of Deceit and the Origin of America’s Opioid Epidemic by Barry Meier, will focus on the birth of the opioid crisis with an emphasis on Purdue Pharma, the manufacturer of OxyContin. Painkiller will premiere on Netflix on August 10.
• Problemista: a new surrealist comedy film, written, directed, and co-produced by Julio Torres. It stars Julio Torres, Tilda Swinton, RZA, Isabella Rosselini and Greta Lee. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest earlier this year and is releasing in theatres on August 4.
• Ahsoka: a new  limited series developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni which is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from the series The Mandalorian. It takes place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), while also serving as a continuation to the animated series Star Wars Rebels. The series follows Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy following the fall of the Empire. Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano, reprising her role from The Mandalorian. The series is premiering on Disney+ on August 23 with two episodes, and the rest releasing weekly. 
• The Creator: a new science fiction action thriller film directed by Gareth Edwards from a screenplay he co-wrote with Chris Weitz. The film stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and Allison Janney. Amid a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war and mankind itself. The film is releasing in theatres on September 29.

• Sex Education season 4: the fourth and last season of the British teen sex comedy drama series created by Laurie Nunn. It follows the lives of the students, staff and parents of the fictional Moordale Secondary School as they contend with various personal dilemmas, often related to sexual intimacy. The series stars an ensemble cast that includes Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Alistair Petrie, Mimi Keene, and Aimee Lou Wood. This season they are joined by new cast members Dan Levy and Andi Osho. We will follow Otis and his friends one more time. This fourth and last season of the series is releasing on Netflix on September 21.
• Killers of the Flower Moon: the new epic Western crime drama film directed and co-produced by Martin Scorsese, who co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Roth, based on the 2017 book of the same name by David Grann. The film centers on a series of Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation during the 1920s, committed after oil was discovered on tribal land. It stars stars Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone. It marks the sixth feature film collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio and the tenth between Scorsese and De Niro. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and is releasing in select theaters on October 6 before a wide release on October 20.
• Bob Marley: One Love: a new biographical drama film directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, and written by Zach Baylin, Frank E. Flowers, and Terence Winter. It is based on the life of reggae singer and songwriter Bob Marley, from his rise to fame up until his death in 1981. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley, alongside Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, and Jesse Cilio as Norval Marley. The film is releasing in theatres on January 12, 2024.
• Red, White & Royal Blue: a new romantic comedy film directed by Matthew Lopez and co-written with Ted Malawer. It is based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Casey McQuiston. The film has an ensemble cast of Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nicholas Galitzine, Uma Thurman, Stephen Fry, Sarah Shahi, Rachel Hilson and Ellie Bamber. The film tells the story of a secret romance between the son of the President of the United States and a British prince. The film is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on August 11.
• The Nun II: the new gothic supernatural horror film directed by Michael Chaves and the sequel to The Nun (2018)? This is the ninth installment in The Conjuring Universe franchise. The film stars Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet and Bonnie Aarons, returning from the first film, with Storm Reid and Anna Popplewell joining the cast. Peter Safran and James Wan return as producers. Set four years after the ending of the first film, the film follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force Valak, the Nun, at a boarding school in France. The film is releasing in theatres on September 8.
• Napoleon: a new epic historical drama film directed and produced by Ridley Scott and written by David Scarpa. It is based on the true story of Napoleon Bonaparte, primarily depicting the French leader's rise to power as well as his relationship with Empress Joséphine. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix as Napoleon and Vanessa Kirby as Empress Joséphine. The film is releasing in theatres on November 22 before streaming on Apple TV+ at a later date.

• Challengers: a new romantic sports comedy-drama film directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Justin Kuritzkes. The film stars Zendaya, Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist. It follows a Grand Slam tennis champion who signs up to compete in a challenger event against the former lover of his wife and coach. Challengers is releasing in theatres on September 15.
• Dumb Money: a new biographical comedy drama film directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo, based on the 2021 book The Antisocial Network by Ben Mezrich. The film is based on the true story of the GameStop short squeeze from January 2021 and stars an ensemble cast featuring Paul Dano, Pete Davidson, Vincent D'Onofrio, America Ferrera, Nick Offerman, Anthony Ramos, Sebastian Stan, Shailene Woodley, and Seth Rogen. Dumb Money will be released in theatres on September 22.
• Zoey 102: a new comedy-drama film directed by Nancy Hower. It’s a sequel film of the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, and features many of its cast members, including Jamie Lynn Spears, Sean Flynn, Christopher Massey, Erin Sanders, Matthew Underwood and Abby Wilde. Years after their time attending Pacific Coast Academy, we follow Zoey Brooks and her former classmates who reunite to attend Logan and Quinn's wedding. The film is releasing on Paramount+ on July 27.
• Drive-away Dolls: a new comedy road film directed by Ethan Coen who wrote the screenplay with his wife Tricia Cooke. They also produced the film with Robert Graf and Working Title Films' Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. It stars Margaret Qualley, Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein, Colman Domingo, Pedro Pascal, Bill Camp, and Matt Damon. The film follows Jamie, an uninhibited free spirit bemoaning yet another breakup with a girlfriend, and her demure friend Marian who desperately needs to loosen up. In search of a fresh start, the two embark on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, but things quickly go awry when they cross paths with a group of inept criminals along the way. Drive-Away Dolls is releasing in theatres on September 22.
• The Beanie Bubble: a new comedy-drama film directed by Kristin Gore and Damian Kulash and written by Kristin Gore, based on the 2015 book The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute by Zac Bissonnette about the Beanie Babies bubble. It stars Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook and Geraldine Viswanathan. The film is releasing in select theatres on July 21 with it premiering on Apple TV+ a week later on July 28.
• Survival Of The Thickest: a new comedy-drama series created by Michelle Buteau and Danielle Sanchez Witzel, based on Michelle’s memoir of the same name. The series follows Mavis Beaumont, played by Michelle Buteau, a plus-sized African-American woman who recently got over a breakup. In an attempt to rebuild her life, she finds unexpected obstacles along the way. The series is releasingon Netflix on July 13.
• Five Nights at Freddy’s: a new supernatural horror film directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she co-wrote with Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback. It’s based on the video game franchise of the same name created by Cawthon, who also serves as producer with Jason Blum. The film stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio and Matthew Lillard. The film is releasing simultaneously in theaters and on Peacock in the United States on October 27.
• Retribution: a new international co-produced action thriller film directed by Nimród Antal from a screenplay by Chris Salmanpour. It stars Liam Neeson, Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Modine. It is a remake of the 2015 Spanish film El desconocido and follows financier Matt Turnerwho  is suddenly threatened by a mysterious bomber while driving his kids to work. The film is releasing in theatres on August 25.
• Full Circle: a new miniseries created and written by Ed Solomon and directed by Steven Soderbergh. It stars Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Timothy Olyphant, Dennis Quaid, Jharrel Jerome, CCH Pounder, and Jim Gaffigan. The series is about an investigation into a botched kidnapping that uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present-day New York City. The series is premiering on HBO Max on July 13.
• Dune: Part Two: a second trailer was released for the second Dune film. This epic science fiction film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. This is the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem reprise their roles from the first film, with Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux joining the ensemble cast. Dune Part 2 is releasing in theatres on November 3.

It’s loosely based on the Foundation series of stories by Isaac Asimov and stars an ensemble cast led by Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey. The series chronicles the thousand-year saga of The Foundation, a band of exiles who discover that the only way to save the Galactic Empire from destruction is to defy it. This second season of the series is premiering on Apple TV+ on July 14. A third season is also coming and has already begun filming.
• F*ck You Very Very Much season 2: the second season of the Flemish comedy series directed by Bert Scholiers and Jonas Govaerts. It stars Frances Lefebure, Evelien Bosmans and Daphne Wellens who are back as good friends An, Floor and Violet. Also back are Tiny Bertels, Damiaan De Schrijver and Peter De Graef. They are joined by new cast members Flor Van Severen, Herwig Ilegems, Marleen Merckx, Tom Audenaert and Charlotte Timmers in this season. We will follow their lives just like we did in the first season with things not always going like they would like to. This second season is set two years after the first one. Some things have changed for our three friends. Floor is a famous actress now and is looking for a sperm donor, Violet is married to Joris, played by Jonas Geirnaert, and An, well, is just being An. The first two episodes of this  second season of the series are premiering on Streamz on July 5 with the rest of the episodes releasing weekly.
• Kraven The Hunter: a new superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is intended to be the fourth installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe. The film was directed by J. C. Chandor and written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title role alongside Ariana DeBose, Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott and Alessandro Nivola.The film is releasing in theatres on October 6.

This weekend there was the global fan event from Netflix, Tudum. During that show of almost three hours, shot live in Brazil, all the stars of your favorite Netflix-shows announced some fun things. First of all, Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave announced there is a third Extraction film coming. The second one was released last Friday and is one of the Six To See. So we will see even more of Tyler Rake. But that’s everything. Here are six new films and series that were announced and that we got a look at and that I can’t wait to see.

1. All The Lights We Cannot See: a new drama limited series directed by Shawn Levy and based on Anthony Doerr's Pulitzer Prize winning novel of the same name. it stars Aria Mia Loberti, Mark Ruffalo, Louis Hofmann and Hugh Laurie. The four-part series follows the stories of a blind French teen girl named Marie-Laure and a German soldier named Werner, whose paths cross in occupied France during World War II. The series is releasing on Netflix on November 2.
2. 3 Body Problem: a new science fiction series created by David Benioff, D. B. Weiss and Alexander Woo, the creators of Game of Thrones. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Liu Cixin and stars an ensemble cast including Saamer Usmani, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Sea Shimooka, Rosalind Chao, Benedict Wong, John Bradley, Eiza González, and Alex Sharp. It’ s a very mysterious series following a group scientists that will face humanity's greatest threat. The series is coming on Netflix in January 2024.
3. Rebel Moon: the newest epic space opera film from director Zack Snyder, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, based on a story he also created. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Cleopatra Coleman, Jena Malone, Fra Fee, Ed Skrein, and Anthony Hopkins. The film is releasing on Netflix on December 22.
4. Avatar: The Last Airbender: the new live action adaptation of the animated series of the same name. This adventure fantasy series which consists of eight 1-hour-long episodes is developed by Albert Kim and stars an ensemble cast including Gordon Cormier, Dallas Liu, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee and Daniel Dae Kim. The series is coming to Netflix next year.
5. 6. Heart of Stone: a new spy action thriller film directed by Tom Harper and starring Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan in the lead roles. It follows international intelligence agent Rachel Stone who must embark on a dangerous mission to protect the mysterious MacGuffin known as ‘The Heart’. Stone is tasked by the peacekeeping operation known as Charter to keep the object safe from falling into enemy hands. The film is releasing on Netflix on August 11.

• Het Smelt: a new Belgian drama film directed by Veerl Baetens in her directorial debut and based on the novel of the same name by Lize Spit. It stars Sebastien Dewaele, Spencer Bogaert, Charlotte De Bruyne, Rosa Marchant, Anthony Vyt, Matthijs Meertens, Naomi Velissariou, Simon Van Buyten, Charlotte Van der Eecken, Amber Metdepenningen and Femke Van der Steen. It follows Eva who, many years after a sweltering summer that spun out of control, returns to the village she grew up in with an ice block in the back of her car. In the dead of winter, she confronts herself with her past and faces up to her tormentors. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year where Rosa Marchant won the Special Jury Award for Best Actress and is releasing in theatres in Belgium later this year.
• And Just Like That season 2: the second season of the comedy drama series developed by Michael Patrick King. It’s a revival and sequel of the series Sex and the City created by Darren Star, which is based on Candace Bushnell's newspaper column and 1996 book anthology of the same name. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are back as Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, and Kim Cattrall, who was not in the first season, will be seen again as Samantha Jones in this second season. Set many years after the events of the 2010 film Sex and the City 2, we follow  the women of Sex and the City who are making their transition from their friendship in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The second season of the series is premiering on June 22 on HBO Max.
• The Out-Laws: a new crime comedy film directed by Tyler Spindel, written by Evan Turner and Ben Zazove, and produced by Adam Sandler, Adam DeVine, and Allen Covert. The film stars Adam DeVine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, Nina Dobrev, Michael Rooker, Poorna Jagannathan, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Lil Rel Howery, and Blake Anderson. It follows a bank manager on his wedding week whose bank is robbed by criminals that he very strongly suspects might be his future in-laws. The Out-Laws is releasing on Netflix on July 7.
• Talk To Me: a new supernatural horror film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, in their feature directorial debut, and written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman from a concept by Daley Pearson. The film follows Mia, played by Sophie Wilde, a young woman who becomes embroiled with the supernatural following a séance with an embalmed hand. Also starring are Joe Bird, Alexandra Jensen, Otis Dhanji, Miranda Otto, Marcus Johnson, and Alexandria Steffensen. The film had its preview screening at the 2022 Adelaide Film Festival, followed by its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. It’s releasing in theatres on July 27.
• Bottoms: a new teen sex comedy film directed by Emma Seligman and co-written by Rachel Sennott, who also stars opposite Ayo Edebiri. The film is produced by Elizabeth Banks under her Brownstone Productions banner. It follows two high school senior girls who set up a fight club as a guise to hook up with cheerleaders. Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Dagmara Domińczyk, and Marshawn Lynch also star in the film. Bottoms headlined the 2023 SXSW film festival earlier this year and is releasing on August 25 in limited theatres before expanding on September 1.

• The Afterparty season 2: the second season of the murder mystery comedy series created by Christopher Miller. Tiffany Haddish, Zoe Chao, and Sam Richardson are back in this second season and they are joined by Ken Jeong, John Cho, Elizabeth Perkins, Zach Woods, Paul Walter Hauser, Poppy Liu, Anna Konkle, Jack Whitehall, and Vivian Wu. This is a whodunit mystery series, so just like in the first season, there will be a murder and our main cats will have to find who did it. This time it’s at a wedding party where the groom is murdered.The second season of the series is premiering on Apple TV+ on July 12 with the first two episodes debuting together, the rest of the episodes are releasing weekly.
• Expend4bles: the fourth film in the Expendables film series and the sequel to The Expendables 3 (2014). This action film is directed by Scott Waugh from a screenplay by Kurt Wimmer, Tad Daggerhart, and Max Adams, and based on a story by Spenser Cohen, Kurt Wimmer, and Tad Daggerhart. It stars an ensemble cast including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture reprising their roles from previous films, alongside Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy García. We follow The Expendables who  are drawn into a conspiracy that will ignite a nuclear conflict between Russia and the United States. The film is releasing in theatres on September 22.
• Poor Things: a new surrealist science-fiction romantic comedy film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos from a screenplay by Tony McNamara, based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray. It follows a young woman who, after being resurrected by an unorthodox scientist, lives a life free of the prejudices of her time. Emma Stone leads an ensemble cast that includes Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael, Christopher Abbott, Margaret Qualley, and Kathryn Hunter. Poor Things is releasing in theatres on September 8.
• The Witcher season 3: the third season of the fantasy drama series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as the Continent, The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg and Princess Ciri. It stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan whoa re reprising their roles from the previous seasons. This third season will be the last one with Henry Cavill starring as Geralt of Rivia, with Liam Hemsworth taking over the role starting the fourth season. This third season is inspired by the second installment in Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher book series, Time of Contempt, and will finally see our hero reckoning with his feelings after two seasons of steely, tough-guy detachment. Season 3 of the series consists of eight episodes that are releasing on Netflix in two volumes with the first one releasing on June 29 and the second one on July 27.

• The Color Purple: a new musical coming-of-age period drama film directed by Blitz Bazawule from a screenplay by Marcus Gardley. It’s based on the stage musical of the same name, which in turn is based on the 1982 novel of the same name by Alice Walker. It is the second film adaptation of the novel, following Steven Spielberg's 1985 film. Spielberg and Quincy Jones return to produce this version, along with the stage musical's producers Scott Sanders and Oprah Winfrey, the latter of whom also starred in the 1985 film as Sofia. The film stars Fantasia Barrino and Danielle Brooks, both reprising their roles from stage musical productions, alongside Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, H.E.R., Halle Bailey, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi. The film is releasing in theatres on December 25.
• Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken: a new computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy action comedy film directed by Kirk DeMicco and co-directed by Faryn Pearl. The film features an ensemble voice cast including Lana Condor, Toni Collette, Annie Murphy, Sam Richardson, Liza Koshy, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Jaboukie Young-White, Blue Chapman, Eduardo Franco, Ramona Young, Echo Kellum, Nicole Byer, and Jane Fonda. In the film, sixteen-year-old Ruby Gillman is desperate to fit in at Oceanside High, but when she breaks her mother's rule about going on the beach with any would-be friends, Ruby discovers that she is a direct descendant of the warrior Kraken queens and is destined to inherit the throne from her commanding grandmother, the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas. The film is releasing in theatres on June 30.
• Sheroes: a new action adventure film directed by Jordan Gertner. It stars Skai Jackson, Sasha Luss, Wallis Day and Isabelle Fuhrman. It follows four good friends who go to Thailand for a hedonistic adventure. Once there, they immediately run into trouble when one of them is kidnapped by a notorious drug lord. As they fight to stay alive and protect each other, they use their unique abilities and unleash their fierce loyalties in a grand battle for survival. The film is releasing in theatres and on digital June 23.
• Problemista: a new surrealist comedy film, written, directed, and co-produced by Julio Torres. It stars Julio Torres, Tilda Swinton, RZA, Isabella Rosselini and Greta Lee. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest earlier this year and is releasing in theatres on August 4.
• Barbie: the new comedy film directed by Greta Gerwig, who co-wrote it with Noah Baumbach. Based on the Barbie fashion dolls by Mattel, the film is the first live-action Barbie film after several computer-animated direct-to-video and streaming television films. The film stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, alongside a large ensemble supporting cast which includes Issa Rae, Hari Nef, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Dua Lipa, Ritu Arya, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, and Will Ferrell. The film is releasing in theatres July 21.

• No Hard Feelings: a new coming of age sex comedy film directed by Gene Stupnitsky from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Phillips. Jennifer Lawrence produces and stars alongside Andrew Barth Feldman. Appearing in supporting roles are Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Set in Montauk, New York, we follow Maddie, a 30-something delivery driver facing bankruptcy after her car is repossessed. She accepts a Craigslist posting from two parents who fear that their teenage son is becoming a recluse. In exchange for a new car, she agrees to become the son's "girlfriend" and help him come into his own as a man. No Hard Feelings is releasing in theatres on June 23.
• Hijack: a new British thriller miniseries created by George Kay and Jim Field Smith.It stars Idris Elba in the lead role as Sam, a talented business negotiator who must use his skills to broker a peaceful end to a hijacking of a flight from Dubai to London. It will premiere on 28 June 2023 on Apple TV+.
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem: a new computer-animated superhero film directed by Jeff Rowe, in his feature directorial debut, and written by Brendan O'Brien. Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, it serves as a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series and is the first theatrical animated film since TMNT (2007). In the film, the Turtle brothers — Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael (voiced respectively by Nicolas Cantu, Shamon Brown Jr., Micah Abbey, and Brady Noon) set out to be accepted as normal teenagers while taking on a mysterious crime syndicate and an army of mutants. The ensemble voice cast includes Jackie Chan, Ayo Edebiri, Seth Rogen, John Cena, Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, Maya Rudolph, Natasia Demetriou, and Giancarlo Esposito. The film is releasing in theatres on August 4.
• I’m A Virgo: a new absurdist comedy series created by Boots Riley and starring Jharrel Jerome in the lead role as Cootie. He is a 13-foot-tall 19-year-old Black man raised by his Aunt Lafrancine and Uncle Martisse in Oakland, California. He is shielded from the outside world until being accidentally discovered by a group of teenage political activists. The first three episodes premiered at the South by Southwest film festival in March 2023. All seven episodes of the series are releasing on Amazon Prime Video on June 23.
• Black Mirror season 6: the sixth season of the British anthology series created by Charlie Brooker. It’s back with five new episodes that are going to tell all different stories like we know from Black Mirror. The titles of the episodes are ‘Joan is awful’, ‘Loch Henry’, ‘Beyond the sea’, ‘Mazey Day’ and ‘Demon 79’. Starring in this sixth season are Annie Murphy, Salma Hayek, Michael Cera, Himesh Patel, Rob Delaney, Ben Barnes, Myha'la Herrold, Daniel Portman, John Hannah, Monica Dolan, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Auden Thornton, Rory Culkin, Zazie Beetz, Clara Rugaard, Danny Ramirez,  Anjana Vasan, Paapa Essiedu, Katherine Rose Morley, and David Shields. • Never Have I Ever season 4: the fourth and last season of the comedy drama series created by Mindy Kaling and  Lang Fisher. It stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan in the lead role of Devi who is starting her last year in high school this season. Also back are Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Ramona Young, and Lee Rodriguez. Michael Cimino is also starring in this season as a new love interest of Devi who was in a love triangle with Ben and Paxton. Our group of friends are in their senior year, and thinking about their future. This fourth season of the series is releasing on Netflix June 8.
• Cruel Summer season 2: the second season of the teen drama thriller anthology series created by Bert V. Royal. While the first season follows two teenage girls in the 1990s and the repercussions on everyone's lives after one disappears and the other seemingly takes her place, this second season follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship between two girls in the early 2000s. It stars Sadie Stanley, Lexi Underwood, Griffin Gluck, KaDee Strickland, Lisa Yamada, Paul Adelstein and Sean Blakemore The second season is premiering on Freeform on June 5 with two new episodes and the rest releasing weekly.
• Meg 2: The Trench: a new science fiction action film directed by Ben Wheatley from a screenplay by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, and Dean Georgaris. It’s based on the 1999 novel The Trench by Steve Alten and serves as the sequel to The Meg (2018). The film stars Jason Statham, Wu Jing, Shuya Sophia Cai, Page Kennedy, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Skyler Samuels, Sienna Guillory, and Cliff Curtis. The film is releasing in theatres on August 4.
• Run Rabbit Run: a new psychological thriller horror film directed by Daina Reid, from a script by Hannah Kent. It stars Sarah Snook, Lily LaTorre, Damon Herriman, and Greta Scacchi. It follows a fertility doctor who starts to notice strange behaviour in her own child. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and will be released on Netflix on June 28.
• Flamin’ Hot: a new biographical comedy-drama film directed by Eva Longoria and written by Lewis Colick and Linda Yvette. It is based on the memoir ‘A Boy, a Burrito and a Cookie: From Janitor to Executive’ by Richard Montañez, and inspired by the true story of Richard Montañez, the janitor who created the iconic Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The film stars Jesse Garcia, Annie Gonzalez, Dennis Haysbert, and Tony Shalhoub and is releasing on Disney+ on June 9.
• The Crowded Room: a new period psychological thriller miniseries created by Akiva Goldsman and inspired by the 1981 non-fiction novel The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes. Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried star in the lead roles alongside Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, Lior Raz, Laila Robins, and Henry Eikenberry. Set in Manhattan in the summer of 1979, we follow Danny, a young man who is arrested for a shocking crime, and Rya, an unlikely investigator who must solve the mystery behind it. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on June 9 with the first three episodes, the next seven episodes will be released weekly.
• My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3: a new  romantic comedy film written and directed by Nia Vardalos who also stars in the film alongside John Corbett, Elena Kampouris, Andrea Martin, and Lainie Kazan. It is intended to be the third installment in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding franchise and will follow the Portokalos family on a trip to Greece for a family reunion. The film will be dedicated to the memory of Michael Constantine who played Gus Portakalos in the first two films and TV show My Big Fat Greek Life and died on August 31, 2021 at the age of 94. The film is releasing in theatres on September 8.
• God is a Bullet: a new action thriller film written and directed by Nick Cassavetes and starring Jamie Foxx, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maika Monroe, January Jones and Andrew Dice Clay. It is based on the novel of the same name by Boston Teran and follows detective Bob Hightower, who finds his ex-wife murdered and his daughter kidnapped by an insidious cult. He takes matters into his own hands and infiltrates the secretive cult to try to save his daughter and that with the help of the cult’s only female victim escapee, Case Hardin. The film is releasing in theatres on June 23.
• Reality: a new drama film directed by Tina Satter from a screenplay by Tina Satter and James Paul Dallas, adapted from the FBI interrogation transcript of American intelligence whistleblower Reality Winner, which Satter previously staged as the play ‘Is This A Room’. It stars Sydney Sweeney as Reality Winner, with Marchánt Davis and Josh Hamilton in supporting roles. Reality premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and will be released on HBO Max on May 29.

• iCarly season 3: the third season of the comedy revival series based on the 2007 Nickelodeon TV series of the same name. The series stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress reprising their roles from the original series, alongside Laci Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett. In this third season we might get the couple we have been waiting for for a very long time: Carly and Freddie. And just like every other season, we follow our group of friends and their lives. Season 3 of iCarly is premiering on Paramount+ on June 1.
• Human Resources season 2: the second and last season of the adult animated sitcom that serves as a spin-off and subseries to Big Mouth, centering around the workplace of the Hormone Monsters depicted in the series. Created by Kelly Galuska, Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett, it stars Aidy Bryant, Randall Park, and Keke Palmer, David Thewlis, Maya Rudolph, and Nick Kroll. It will also guest star several celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Florence Pugh and Eugene Levy. This second and final season is releasing on Netflix on June 9.
• The Bear season 2: the second season of the comedy-drama series created by Christopher Storer. It stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Abby Elliott. After the first season where Carmy tries to restart his family's Italian beef sandwich shop, he will renovate it all and make a new restaurant which will be a lot of work. In this second season we will follow their journey to try to finish it all on time to open. The second season of the series is releasing on Disney+ on June 22.
• Extraction 2: the sequel action-thriller film of Extraction directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani and Adam Bessa who are reprising their roles, with Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili joining the cast. After being presumed dead 9 months ago, Tyler Rake is assigned back by the black-ops mercenary to rescue a ruthless Georgian gangster's family from the prison where they are being held. The film is releasing on Netflix on June 16.
• Haunted Mansion: a new supernatural horror comedy film directed by Justin Simien from a screenplay by Katie Dippold. The film stars LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto. This is the second theatrical film adaptation of Walt Disney's theme park attraction The Haunted Mansion, following the 2003 film of the same name. In the film, Gabbie and her son Travis move into a mansion, only to find that it is haunted. To combat the spirits, they hire a team to help exorcise their mansion and destroy the ghosts around them. The film is releasing in theatres on July 28.
• The Creator: a new science fiction action thriller film directed by Gareth Edwards from a screenplay he co-wrote with Chris Weitz. The film stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and Allison Janney. Amid a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war and mankind itself. The film is releasing in theatres on September 29.
• Killers of the Flower Moon: a new epic Western crime drama film directed by Martin Scorsese, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Eric Roth. It’s based on the best-selling 2017 non-fiction book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann. The film centers on a series of Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation during the 1920s, committed after oil was discovered on tribal land. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, who also serves as an executive producer, alongside Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow and Robert De Niro. The film had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and is releasing in select cinemas on October 6, before a wide release on October 20. It is also scheduled for an unspecified streaming release on Apple TV+.
• Theater Camp: a new comedy film directed by Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman in their directorial debuts. A feature-length adaptation of the 2020 short film of the same name, the film features an ensemble cast, led by Molly Gordon, Ben Platt, Noah Galvin, Jimmy Tatro, Patti Harrison, Ayo Edebiri, Alan Kim, and Amy Sedaris. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and is releasing in theatres on July 14.
• Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1: the action spy film directed and produced by Christopher McQuarrie, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Erik Jendresen. It is the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) and the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible film series. The film stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, and Henry Czerny. The film is releasing in theatres on July 12 with part 2 releasing on June 28, 2024.

• The Clearing: a new Australian eight-part psychological thriller series inspired by the dark and haunting story of a real-life cult with a female leader. It follows a woman who is forced to face the demons of her past in order to prevent a cult from kidnapping children. Directed by Jeffrey Walker and Gracie Otto, it is based on the best-selling book by J.P. Pomare. It stars Miranda Otto, Teresa Palmer and Guy Pearce. The series premieres on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ internationally on May 24.
• Gran Turismo: a new biographical coming-of-age sports drama film directed by Neill Blomkamp. The film is based on the video game series of the same name developed by Polyphony Digital, while inspired by the true story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage Gran Turismo player aspiring to be a race car driver. It stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou. The film is releasing in theatres on August 11.
• Oppenheimer: a new biographical film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, based on the 2005 book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, an American theoretical physicist credited with being the "father of the atomic bomb" for his role in the Manhattan Project, the World War II undertaking that developed the first nuclear weapons. It also stars a supporting ensemble cast that includes Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Josh Hartnett and Kenneth Branagh. The film is releasing in theatres on July 21.
• Dune Part 2: the second part of the film Dune with the first part that was released in 2021. This epic science fiction film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. This is the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem reprise their roles from the first film, with Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux joining the ensemble cast. • Insidious: The Red Door: the upcoming supernatural horror film directed by Patrick Wilson in his directorial debut from a screenplay by Scott Teems and based on a story by Leigh Whannell. It is a direct sequel to Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and the fifth installment in the Insidious film series. Ty Simpkins, Wilson, Andrew Astor, Rose Byrne, and Lin Shaye reprise their roles from the films. Hiam Abbass and Sinclair Daniel also join the cast. The film is releasing in theatres on July 7.
• City on Fire: a new crime drama series created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, based on the novel of the same name by Garth Risk Hallberg. It stars Wyatt Oleff, Chase Sui Wonders, Jemima Kirke, Nico Tortorella, Ashley Zukerman, and Xavier Clyde. After Samantha Cicciaro was shot in Central Park, New York City on July 4, 2003, the investigation into her murder reveals the crucial connection between a series of mysterious city-wide fires, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy uptown real estate family fraying under the strain of the many secrets they keep. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on May 12.
• White Bird: a new war drama film directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Mark Bomback, based on the 2019 graphic novel White Bird: A Wonder Story by R. J. Palacio. A spin-off, prequel, and "companion piece" to Wonder (2017), the film stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Bryce Gheisar, Gillian Anderson, and Helen Mirren, with Gheisar reprising his role as Julian from Wonder. Set after the events of Wonder, Julian has left Beecher Prep for good. He is visited by his grandmother from Paris, who tells him stories of her childhood as a young Jewish girl in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, while being hidden from the Nazis by a distant classmate and his parents. The film is scheduled to have a limited release on August 18, followed by a wide release on August 25.
• All the Light We Cannot See: a new drama limited series directed by Shawn Levy, based on Anthony Doerr's Pulitzer Prize winning novel of the same name. It stars Aria Mia Loberti, Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie. The four-part series follows the stories of a blind French teen girl named Marie-Laure and a German soldier named Werner, whose paths cross in occupied France during World War II. The limited series is releasing on Netflix on November 2.
• FUBAR: an upcoming spy-adventure series created by Nick Santora starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in his first leading role in a scripted live-action television series. Also starring are Monica Barbaro, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Barbara Eve Harris, Gabriel Luna, Fabiana Udenio and Travis Van Winkle. It follows Luke and his daughter Emma who have lied to each other for years, both of them not knowing the other is a CIA operative. Once they both learn the truth, they realize they don't actually know anything about each other. The series is releasing on Netflix on May 25.
• White Men Can’t Jump: a new sports comedy film directed by Charles "Calmatic" Kidd II and written by Kenya Barris and Doug Hall. It is a remake of the 1992 film of the same name. It stars Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow in the lead roles, alongside Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Vince Staples, Myles Bullock, and Lance Reddick in one of his final film performances after his death in March 2023. White Men Can't Jump is releasing on Hulu on May 19.

• American Born Chinese: a new action comedy series based on the 2006 graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang. It stars Michelle Yeoh, Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu and Ke Huy Quan, and follows Jin Wang, a high schooler struggling with his school and home life. He meets the new foreign exchange student at his school who's from Taiwan. However, a sequence of events lead him to become involved in a battle between gods of Chinese mythology. The series is releasing on Disney+ on May 24.
• The Flash: a second new trailer was released for the upcoming DC superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Christina Hodson and stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash alongside Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton. In the film, Barry travels back in time to prevent his mother's murder, which brings unintended consequences. The Flash had its world premiere at CinemaCon on April 25 and is releasing in theatres on June 16.
• A Haunting in Venice: the upcoming mystery horror film directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie. The film is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Death on the Nile (2022). Branagh reprises his role as Hercule Poirot, alongside Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Michelle Yeoh. It follows Hercule Poirot, now retired, who must solve the murder of a guest at a séance he attended. A Haunting in Venice is releasing in theatres on September 15.
• XO, Kitty: a new romantic dramedy series created by Jenny Han and a spin-off of the To All the Boys film series. Anna Cathcart is reprising the title role of Kitty Covey, who believes she is extremely knowledgeable on love. She moves halfway across the world to Korea, aiming to reconnect with her long-distance boyfriend. She finds, however, that a relationship is much more complex when it is your own feelings of love at risk. The series is releasing on Netflix on May 18.
• The Equalizer 3: the third and last film in the trilogy of the vigilante action film. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, this is the sequel to the 2018 film The Equalizer 2, which was based on the TV series of the same name. The film stars Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning, David Denman, Sonia Ammar and Remo Girone. It follows retired U.S. Marine and former DIA officer Robert McCall who has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he's done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, he knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the Sicilian Mafia. The film is releasing in theatres on September 1.
• Next Goal Wins: a new biographical sports comedy-drama film directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Iain Morris. The film is based on the 2014 documentary of the same name by Mike Brett and Steve Jamison about Dutch-American coach Thomas Rongen's efforts to lead the American Samoa national football team, considered the weakest football team in the world, to qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Michael Fassbender will star as Rongen, alongside Elisabeth Moss, Oscar Kightley, Uli Latukefu, Rachel House, Kaimana, David Fane, Beulah Koale, Chris Alosio, Waititi, Will Arnett, and Rhys Darby. The film is releasing in theatres on November 17.
• Transformers: Rise of the Beasts: the upcoming science fiction action film based on Hasbro's Transformers toy line and primarily influenced by the Beast Wars storyline. The film is the seventh installment in the Transformers film series and a standalone sequel to Bumblebee (2018). The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Vélez and Tobe Nwigwe in his film debut, as well the voice talents of Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Pete Davidson, Liza Koshy, Cristo Fernández, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Tongayi Chirisa, Colman Domingo, and previous voice actors, Peter Cullen, John DiMaggio and David Sobolov. The film is releasing in theatres on June 9.
• The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes: the upcoming prequel film from The Hunger Games trilogy, based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. It’s a science fiction action film directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Jason Schwartzman, and Viola Davis. Set 64 years before the first film, the film follows young Coriolanus Snow (Blyth) and his relationship with Hunger Games tribute Lucy Gray Baird (Zegler) and the events that eventually lead him on the path to becoming the tyrannical leader of Panem. The film is releasing in theatres on November 17.

• The Marvels: the upcoming MCU superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel. It’s the sequel to the film Captain Marvel and a continuation of the television series Ms. Marvel and WandaVision. The film is directed by Nia DaCosta from a screenplay she co-wrote with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells. It stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon. In the film, Danvers, Rambeau, and Khan begin swapping places with each other every time they use their powers and must team-up. The film is releasing in theatres on November 10.
• Peter Pan and Wendy: the new live-action fantasy adventure film directed by David Lowery. It’s a live-action adaptation of Walt Disney's 1953 animated film Peter Pan, in turn based on the 1904 play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up (also known as Peter and Wendy) by J. M. Barrie. The film stars Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson in the title roles. Jude Law, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan also appear in supporting roles. The film is releasing  on Disney+ on April 28.
• Talk To Me: a new supernatural horror film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, in their feature directorial debut, and written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman from a concept by Daley Pearson. The film follows Mia, played by Sophie Wilde, a young woman who becomes embroiled with the supernatural following a séance with an embalmed hand. Also starring are Joe Bird, Alexandra Jensen, Otis Dhanji, Miranda Otto, Marcus Johnson, and Alexandria Steffensen. The film had its preview screening at the 2022 Adelaide Film Festival, followed by its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. It’s releasing in theatres on July 27.
• The Mother: a new action drama film directed by Niki Caro. The film stars Jennifer Lopez, Joseph Fiennes, Omari Hardwick, and Gael García Bernal. It follows an ex-assassin who was fleeing from dangerous assailants, but comes out of hiding to protect the estranged daughter she left earlier in her life.The film is releasing on Netflix on May 12.
• The Muppets Mayhem: the new comedy musical series based on the Muppet musical group, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. stars Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, Anders Holm and Muppet performers Barretta, Peter Linz, Eric Jacobson, Matt Vogel, David Rudman, and Dave Goelz. It follows Junior A&R executive Nora who must deal with the madness caused by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, who come face-to-face with the modern musical business as they try to record their first-ever platinum album. The series is releasing on Disney+ on May 10.
• The Last Voyage of the Demeter: a new supernatural horror film directed by André Øvredal. It is an adaptation of ‘The Captain's Log’, a chapter from the 1897 Bram Stoker novel Dracula. The film stars Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham, Javier Botet, and David Dastmalchian. It follows the crew of the merchant ship known as the Demeter as they are stalked by a dark presence: the vampire known as Dracula. The film is releasing in theatres on August 11.
• Sweet Tooth season 2: the second season of the fantasy drama series developed by Jim Mickle and based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire. It follows Gus, played by Christian Convery, a sheltered and naive 10-year-old half-human, half-deer boy who wants to find his mother. The second season follows up on the first one with Gus out there with other hybrid kids. He is still looking for his mother. Also starring in the series are Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, Naledi Murray, and Marlon Williams. Season 2 of Sweet Tooth is releasing on Netflix April 27.

• Secret Invasion: the upcoming Marvel miniseries created by Kyle Bradstreet and based on the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name. It follows Nick Fury and his allies, who attempt to thwart a Skrull invasion of Earth. Samuel L. Jackson is back as Fury along with Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle also starring. It will be the first series of Phase Five of the MCU. Secret Invasion is premiering on Disney+ on June 21 and will consist of six episodes.
• Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse: the new computer-animated superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales / Spider-Man. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and is set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the ‘Spider-Verse’. The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson in their feature directorial debuts. Shameik Moore voices Miles, starring alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham and Oscar Isaac. In the film, Miles goes on an adventure with Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman across the multiverse where he meets a new team of Spider-People, known as the Spider-Society, but comes into conflict with them over handling a new threat. The film is releasing in theatres on June 2.
• Blue Beetle: a new superhero film based on the DC Comics character Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle directed by Angel Manuel Soto. The film stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle alongside Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Elpidia Carrillo, Bruna Marquezine, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, and George Lopez. It follows Jaime Reyes who is chosen to become a symbiotic host to the Scarab, an ancient alien biotechnological relic that grants him a powerful exoskeleton armor, turning him into the superhero Blue Beetle. The film is releasing in theatres August 18.
• Hypnotic: a new science fiction action thriller film co-written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Alice Braga, J. D. Pardo, Hala Finley, Dayo Okeniyi, Jeff Fahey, Jackie Earle Haley, and William Fichtner. It follows Daniel Rourke, a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program, while investigating a string of impossible high-end heists. The film is releasing in theatres May 12.
• Barbie: the new comedy film directed by Greta Gerwig, who co-wrote it with Noah Baumbach. Based on the Barbie fashion dolls by Mattel, the film is the first live-action Barbie film after several computer-animated direct-to-video and streaming television films. The film stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, alongside a large ensemble supporting cast which includes Issa Rae, Hari Nef, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Dua Lipa, Ritu Arya, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, and Will Ferrell. The film is releasing in theatres July 21.
• Silo: a new science fiction series created and written by Graham Yost and directed by Morten Tyldum and based on the Silo series of novels by author Hugh Howey. The series stars Rebecca Ferguson in the lead role, who also executive produces the series. Also starring are Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, and Iain Glen. Set in a toxic dystopian future where a community exists in a giant silo hundreds of stories deep underground, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on May 5.
• Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny: the upcoming  action adventure film directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote it with Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth, and David Koepp. It is the sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull from 2008 and is the fifth and final installment in the Indiana Jones film series. The film stars Harrison Ford in his final portrayal of archaeologist Indiana Jones. John Rhys-Davies reprises his role as Sallah from earlier films, along with new cast members including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen. • You Hurt My Feelings: a new comedy-drama film written, directed and produced by Nicole Holofcener. It stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tobias Menzies, Michaela Watkins, Arian Moayed and Jeannie Berlin. It follows Beth and Don who had a peaceful but co-dependent relationship that is getting affected by a betrayal. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this year and is releasing in theatres on May 26.
• Elemental: a new computer-animated romantic drama film directed by Peter Sohn. The film stars the voices of Leah Lewis, Mamoudou Athie, Ronnie del Carmen, Shila Ommi, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Catherine O'Hara, Mason Wertheimer, Joe Pera, and Matt Yang King. Set in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic elements of nature, the story depicts the bond between a fire element Ember Lumen and a water element Wade Ripple, who cannot touch each other but discover how much they have in common. The film is releasing in theatres on June 16.
• Renfield: a new vampire horror comedy film directed by Chris McKay from a screenplay by Ryan Ridley. It’s based on an original idea by Robert Kirkman featuring characters from Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula. Nicolas Hoult stars as the titular character, alongside Nicolas Cage, Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, and Adrian Martinez. The movie is releasing in theatres on April 14.
• Asteroid City: a new science fiction romantic comedy drama film written, directed and co-produced by Wes Anderson, based on a story by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. The film follows the transformative events that occur at an annual Junior Stargazer convention in 1955. It features an ensemble cast that includes Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Maya Hawke, Rupert Friend, Steve Carrell, Margot Robbie, Willem Dafoe, Tony Revolori, and Jeff Goldblum. • Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story: we got another new trailer for the new prequel spin-off limited series of Bridgerton written by Shonda Rhimes. The series will focus on young Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power. Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh and Ruth Gemmell are reprising their roles from Bridgerton with India Amarteifio, Arsema Thomas, Connie Jenkins-Greig playing the young versions of those roles. The series will premiere on Netflix on May 4.
• Love & Death: a new crime drama miniseries directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and written by David E. Kelley. The series is based on the true story of Wylie, Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who was accused of the brutal axe murder of her friend Betty Gore in 1980. It stars Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Patrick Fugit, Lily Rabe, Keir Gilchrist, Elizabeth Marvel, Tom Pelphrey, Krysten Ritter and Beth Broderick. It’s premiering on HBO Max on April 27.
• Dead Ringers: a new psychological thriller drama miniseries created, written, and executive produced by Alice Birch and based on the 1988 film of the same name by David Cronenberg. It stars Rachel Weisz as Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twin gynecologists who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes, including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront. Also starring are Michael Chernus, Poppy Liu and Britne Oldford. The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 21.
• Citadel: a new science fiction action thriller series created by Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh. It stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead roles as Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh. It’s an action-packed spy series with a compelling emotional center. The series is premiering on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.

• The Little Mermaid: the new musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall from a screenplay written by David Magee. It is a live-action adaptation of Disney's 1989 animated film of the same name, which itself is loosely based on the 1837 fairy tale of the same title by Hans Christian Andersen. The film stars Halle Bailey in the titular role as Ariel, along with Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Noma Dumezweni, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy. It tells the well-known story of Ariel, the little mermaid, who wants to  discover the world above water. The film is releasing in theatres on May 26.
• Chupa: a new fantasy adventure film directed by Jonás Cuarón, and starring Demián Bichir and Christian Slater. After discovering a chupacabra living in his grandfather’s shed while visiting in Mexico, a teenage boy and his cousins accompany the creature. The film is releasing on Netflix on April 7.
• Beef: a new comedy drama series created by Lee Sung Jin and starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong in the lead roles. It follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho, a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau, a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. Beef is releasing on Netflix April 6.
• Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken: a new computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy action comedy film directed by Kirk DeMicco and co-directed by Faryn Pearl. The film features an ensemble voice cast including Lana Condor, Toni Collette, Annie Murphy, Sam Richardson, Liza Koshy, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Jaboukie Young-White, Blue Chapman, Eduardo Franco, Ramona Young, Echo Kellum, Nicole Byer, and Jane Fonda. In the film, sixteen-year-old Ruby Gillman is desperate to fit in at Oceanside High, but when she breaks her mother's rule about going on the beach with any would-be friends, Ruby discovers that she is a direct descendant of the warrior Kraken queens and is destined to inherit the throne from her commanding grandmother, the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas. The film is releasing in theatres on June 30.

The film stars Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu, and Sabrina Wu. It follows friends Audrey, Lolo, Kat, and Deadeye, four Asian-American women who travel through Asia in search of Audrey's birth mother. The film had its world premiere at SXSW on March 17, and is releasing in theatres on July 7.

• Ted Lasso season 3: the third season of the sports comedy drama series developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly, based on a character Jason Sudeikis first portrayed in a series of promos for NBC Sports' coverage of England's Premier League. The show follows Ted Lasso, an American college football coach who is hired to coach an English soccer team with the secret intention that his inexperience will lead it to failure, but whose folksy, optimistic leadership proves unexpectedly successful. The third season of the successful series will premiere on Apple TV+ on March 15.

Expanded from a 2018 short film by the improv comedy troupe 3Peat, the film follows an all-Black group of friends who encounter a killer while staying at a cabin in the woods. The cast includes Antoinette Robertson, Dewayne Perkins, Sinqua Walls, Grace Byers, X Mayo, Melvin Gregg, Jermaine Fowler, Yvonne Orji, Jay Pharoah and James Preston Rogers. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival and was second runner-up for the People's Choice Award for Midnight Madness. The film is releasing on Juneteenth weekend, June 16.
• Succession season 4: the fourth season of the comedy drama series created by Jesse Armstrong. The series centers on the Roy family, the owners of Waystar RoyCo, a global media and entertainment conglomerate, who are fighting for control of the company amid uncertainty about the health of the family's patriarch, Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox. Als starring are Nicholas Braun, Kieran Culkin, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Sarah Snook, and Jeremy Strong. This fourth and final season of the series is premiering on HBO on March 26.

Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, it serves as a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series and is the first theatrical animated film since TMNT (2007). In the film, the Turtle brothers — Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael (voiced respectively by Nicolas Cantu, Shamon Brown Jr., Micah Abbey, and Brady Noon) set out to be accepted as normal teenagers while taking on a mysterious crime syndicate and an army of mutants. The ensemble voice cast includes Jackie Chan, Ayo Edebiri, Seth Rogen, John Cena, Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, Maya Rudolph, Natasia Demetriou, and Giancarlo Esposito. The film is releasing in theatres on August 4.

• Ghosted: a new romantic comedy action-adventure film directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers, from a story by Reese and Wernick. The film stars Chris Evans and Ana de Armas in the lead roles as Cole and Sadie. The film is releasing on Apple TV+ on April 21.
• On a Wing and a Prayer: a new drama film directed by Sean McNamara and starring Dennis Quaid, Heather Graham, and Jesse Metcalfe. It follows a father with his wife and daughters, who are aboard a private plane. While in the air the pilot dies suddenly. The father now must land the plane to save his family. The film is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on  April 7.
• Yellowjackets season 2: the second season of the thriller drama series created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. It stars an ensemble cast led by Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty, Liv Hewson, and Courtney Eaton as a group of teenagers involved in a plane crash in 1996, with Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Lauren Ambrose, and Simone Kessell portraying their adult counterparts. After the first season, we still have a lot of questions and a few of them we will get an answer for. It will be another crazy season of the series. The second season of Yellowjackets is premiering on Showtime on March 26.
• No Hard Feelings: a new coming of age sex comedy film directed by Gene Stupnitsky from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Phillips. Jennifer Lawrence produces and stars alongside Andrew Barth Feldman. Appearing in supporting roles are Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Set in Montauk, New York, we follow Maddie, a 30-something delivery driver facing bankruptcy after her car is repossessed. She accepts a Craigslist posting from two parents who fear that their teenage son is becoming a recluse. In exchange for a new car, she agrees to become the son's "girlfriend" and help him come into his own as a man. No Hard Feelings is releasing in theatres on June 23.
• The Night Agent: a new action thriller series created by Shawn Ryan based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. It stars Gabriel Basso as FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who is thrown into a vast conspiracy about a Russian mole at the highest levels of the United States government. It’s releasing on Netflix on March 23.
• The Last Thing He Told Me: a new thriller miniseries based on the novel of the same name by Laura Dave. The miniseries is created by Dave and Josh Singer and stars Jennifer Garner in the lead role as Hannah who forms an unexpected relationship with her stepdaughter as she searches for her husband who recently disappeared. It’s premiering on Apple TV+ on April 14.
• To Catch A Killer: a new thriller film directed by Damián Szifron, from a screenplay by Szifron and Jonathan Wakeham. It stars Shailene Woodley, Ben Mendelsohn and Jovan Adepo. The film marks Argentine filmmaker Damián Szifron's English-language debut. It follows Eleanor, a talented but troubled cop, who is recruited by the FBI to help profile and track down a murderer. It’s releasing in theatres on April 21.

• The Flash: the upcoming DC superhero movie based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Christina Hodson and stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash alongside Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton. In the film, Barry travels back in time to prevent his mother's murder, which brings unintended consequences. The Flash is having its world premiere at CinemaCon on April 25 before releasing in theatres on June 16.
• Guardians of the Galaxy 3: the third superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy and the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), and the 32nd film in the MCU. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars an ensemble cast featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, Elizabeth Debicki, Maria Bakalova, and Sylvester Stallone. In the film, the Guardians embark on a mission to protect Rocket. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is releasing in theatres on May 5.
• Love Again: a new romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by James C. Strouse. It is an English-language remake of the 2016 German film SMS für Dich, itself based on a novel by Sofie Cramer. It stars Priyanka Chopra, Sam Heughan, Russell Tovey, Omid Djalili, Celia Imrie, and Celine Dion. We follow Mira Ray, who is dealing with the loss of her fiancé and sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number…not realizing the number was reassigned to someone else’s new work phone. It’s releasing on May 12.
• Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story: the new prequel spin-off limited series of Bridgerton written by Shonda Rhimes. The series will focus on young Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power. Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh and Ruth Gemmell are reprising their roles from Bridgerton with India Amarteifio, Arsema Thomas, Connie Jenkins-Greig playing the young versions of those roles. The series will premiere on Netflix on May 4 and consists of six episodes.
• Extrapolations: a new anthology drama series created by Scott Z. Burns. It depicts the effects of climate change on the planet through various different points of view through interconnected stories. It stars an ensemble cast including Meryl Streep, Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Edward Norton, Diane Lane, Daveed Diggs, Tahar Rahim, Yara Shahidi, Matthew Rhys, Gemma Chan, Marion Cotillard, Forest Whitaker, Eiza González, Murray Bartlett, Tobey Maguire and David Schwimmer. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on March 17.

• Daisy Jones & The Six: a new miniseries based on the book of the same name written by Taylor Jenkins Reid. While the story is presented in a documentary style, including background interviews with the band, this is a fictional story that captures the essence of creativity in the erratic, wild world of the 1970s. It follows a rock band in the 1970s from their rise in the LA music scene to becoming one of the most legendary bands in the world and explores the reason behind their split at the height of their success. Starring in the series are Riley Keough, Camila Morrone, Sam Claflin and Suki Waterhouse. It’s premiering on Amazon Prime Video on March 3.
• John Wick Chapter 4: the fourth film in the franchise and the sequel to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019). This neo-noir action thriller film is directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. It stars an ensemble cast including Keanu Reeves as the the title character, and Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Clancy Brown, Natalia Tena, Marko Zaror, and Ian McShane. In the movie, John Wick uncovers a path to defeating the High Table, but before he can earn his freedom, he must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into new foes. The film is releasing in theatres on March 24.
• Tetris: a new biographical drama film directed by Jon S. Baird and written by Noah Pink. It stars Taron Egerton and Toby Jones and tells the true story of the high-stakes legal battle to secure the intellectual property rights to Tetris. Tetris will have its world premiere at SXSW Film Festival on March 15 and is releasing on Apple TV+ on March 31.
• Love & Death: a new crime drama miniseries directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and written by David E. Kelley. The series is based on the true story of Wylie, Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who was accused of the brutal axe murder of her friend Betty Gore in 1980. It stars Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Patrick Fugit, Lily Rabe, Keir Gilchrist, Elizabeth Marvel, Tom Pelphrey, Krysten Ritter and Beth Broderick. It’s premiering on HBO Max on April 27.
• Shadow & Bone season 2: the second season of the fantasy series developed by Eric Heisserer and based on two series of books in the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the Six of Crows duology. This second season adapts Siege and Storm (2013), and another original storyline featuring the Crows. The series adapts the story of young Alina Starkov, an orphan and cartographer of the Ravka nation's First Army, as she discovers she is a Grisha, one with special gifts, and one long awaited to address a dire need in the universe. Starring in the series are Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, Ben Barnes, and Zoë Wanamaker who are reprising their roles from the first season. They are joined by new cast members Lewis Tan, Patrick Gibson, Anna Leong Brophy, Jack Wolfe, Daisy Head, Danielle Galligan, and Calahan Skogman. The second season of the series is releasing on Netflix on March 16.

• Boston Strangler: a new historical crime drama film written and directed by Matt Ruskin. It’s based on the true story of the Boston Strangler, who in the 1960s killed 13 women in Boston, Massachusetts. The film stars Keira Knightley as Loretta McLaughlin, the reporter who broke the story. Carrie Coon, Alessandro Nivola, Chris Cooper, David Dastmalchian, and Morgan Spector also star. The film is releasing on Hulu on March 17.
• Past Lives: a new romantic drama film written and directed by Celine Song in her feature directorial debut. The film stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro, and follows a reunion between two childhood friends as they contemplate their relationship and their own lives. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21 and was also screened at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 19, before releasing in select theatres on May 19.
• The Pope’s Exorcist: a new supernatural horror film directed by Julius Avery and starring Russell Crowe in the lead role as Father Gabriele Amorth. The film also stars Daniel Zovatto, Alex Essoe and Franco Nero. It’s based on Amorth's memoirs An Exorcist Tells His Story and An Exorcist: More Stories. The film is releasing in theatres on April 14.
• A Thousand and One: a new drama film, written and directed by A.V. Rockwell. It stars Teyana Taylor, Will Catlett, Josiah Cross, Aven Courtney and Aaron Kingsley Adetola. It follows unapologetic and free-spirited Inez, who kidnaps six-year-old Terry from the foster care system. Holding onto their secret and each other, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City. It had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival where it won the grand jury prize. The film is releasing in theatres on March 31.
• The Power: a new science fiction drama series developed by Raelle Tucker, Naomi Alderman, and Sarah Quintrell, and based on Alderman's 2016 novel of the same name. It stars Toni Collette, Auliʻi Cravalho, John Leguizamo, Toheeb Jimoh, Ria Zmitrowicz, Halle Bush, Nico Hiraga, Heather Agyepong, Daniela Vega, and Eddie Marsan. It’s set in a world like ours, but the difference is that a group of teenage girls mysteriously develop a special power that allows them to electrocute people. The first season is expected to consist of nine episodes, and is premiering on Amazon Prime Video on March 31.
• Swarm: a new horror thriller series created by Donald Glover and Janine Nabers. It stars Dominique Fishback, Chloe Bailey, Damson Idris, Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin, Kiersey Clemons and Byron Bowers. The series follows Dre, a young woman whose obsession with a pop star, very similar to Beyoncé, takes a dark turn. The series is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on March 17.

• Perry Mason season 2: the second season of the period drama series created by Rolin Jones and Ron Fitzgerald. It is based on the character of the same name by Erle Stanley Gardner. The series stars Matthew Rhys in the title role. Season 2 is releasing on HBO on March 6.
• Air: a new biographical drama film directed by Ben Affleck and written by Alex Convery. The film stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck alongside Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Marlon Wayans, Chris Tucker, and Viola Davis. It follows Sonny Vaccaro, a shoe salesman at Nike, who works to sign Michael Jordan to a deal to wear their shoes. Air is releasing in theatres on April 5.
• Strays: a new comedy film directed and produced by Josh Greenbaum. The film stars Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Will Forte, Isla Fisher, Randall Park, Josh Gad, Harvey Guillén, Rob Riggle, Brett Gelman, Jamie Demetriou, and Sofia Vergara. It follows an abandoned dog named Reggie who teams up with other strays to get revenge on his former owner. Strays is releasing in theatres on June 9.
• Luther: The Fallen Sun: the crime thriller film directed by Jamie Payne and written by Neil Cross. It serves as a film continuation of the 2010–19 British television series of the same name. The film stars Idris Elba, who also serves as a producer on the film, reprising his role as John Luther, with Cynthia Erivo and Andy Serkis also starring. Luther: The Fallen Sun is releasing in select cinemas on February 24, before releasing on Netflix on March 10.
• School Spirits: a new supernatural drama series. We follow Maddie played by Peyton List, a high-schooler who is stuck in the afterlife and decides to investigate her mysterious disappearance alongside a group of other students who are also stuck at their high school. The series is releasing on Paramount+ on March 9.
• Beautiful Disaster: a new romance drama film directed by Roger Kumble. It stars Virginia Gardner, Brian Austin Green, Dylan Sprouse, and Autumn Reeser. It’s an adaptation of Jamie McGuire's bestselling novel of the same name. The story follows bad-boy Travis Maddox and Abby Abernathy as they fall in love with each other. The film is releasing in theaters on April 12.
• Fast X: the tenth film in the Fast and Furious saga and the sequel to F9. The action film is directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Justin Lin, Zach Dean, and Dan Mazeau. It stars an ensemble cast including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jason Momoa, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, John Cena, Jason Statham, Sung Kang, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, and Rita Moreno. • Murder Mystery 2: the sequel to Murder Mystery and a comedy mystery film directed by Jeremy Garelick and written by James Vanderbilt. It stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston who are reprising their roles as Nick and Audrey. After solving their first murder mystery in the first film, they have quit their jobs as a cop and hairdresser, respectively, to become full-time private detectives, but are having difficulty getting their upstart agency on the map. When they are invited to the private island wedding of their friend the Maharajah, they are given the chance to prove themselves when he is unexpectedly kidnapped. Murder Mystery 2 is releasing on Netflix on March 31.
• The Boogeyman: a new supernatural horror film directed by Rob Savage from a screenplay by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods and Mark Heyman, based on the 1973 short story of the same name by Stephen King. The film stars Madison Hu, Vivien Lyra Blair, Sophie Thatcher, David Dastmalchian, Chris Messina, and Jaynie Verdin. Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her little sister find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it is too late. The Boogeyman is releasing in theatres on June 2.
• Outer Banks 3: the third season of the action-adventure mystery teen drama series created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke. The series is set in a community in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and follows conflict between two groups of teenagers in the community, who have the nicknames "Kooks" and "Pogues". Most of the cast is coming back for this third season including Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Charles Esten and Drew Starkey. Season 3 of Outer Banks is releasing on Netflix February 23.
• Big George Foreman: a new  biographical sports drama film directed by George Tillman Jr. The film focuses on the life of world heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman, played by Khris Davis. It also stars Jasmine Mathews, John Magaro, Sullivan Jones, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Sonja Sohn, and Forest Whitaker. The film is releasing in theatres on April 28.

• Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves: a second trailer for the upcoming fantasy adventure comedy film based on the game was released. It’s directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio from a story by Chris McKay and Gilio. Based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, it is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and has no connections to the film trilogy released between 2000 and 2012. The film stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant. It follows a group of thieves who travel to a realm to stop a great evil from enslaving the world. The movie is releasing in theatres March 31.
• Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine's Day: a Valentine’s Day special of the adult animated series following Harley Quinn who is voiced by Kaley Cuoco. This special follows Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy who are a couple. And just like in the series, things won’t all go as planned. This Valentine's Day special of Harley Quinn is releasing on HBO Max on February 9.
• Succession season 4: the fourth season of the comedy drama series is coming. Created by Jesse Armstrong, it centers on the Roy family, the owners of Waystar RoyCo, a global media and entertainment conglomerate, who are fighting for control of the company amid uncertainty about the health of the family's patriarch, Logan Roy. The fourth season of the series is premiering on HBO on March 26.
• The Strays: a new horror movie written and directed by Nathaniel Martello-White making this his directorial debut. It stars Ashley Madekwe in the lead role. The film follows Neve, who leads a peaceful life in a suburb with her family and has a successful job at a private school. When she finds a strange man and woman appear strangely at odd moments, she starts to doubt her sanity. She turns to her family and friends for assistance, but they refuse to believe her. Also starring in the film are Bukky Bakray, Jorden Myrie, Justin Salinger, Samuel Small and Maria Almeida. The Strays is releasing on Netflix on February 22.
• We Have A Ghost: a new family comedy horror movie directed by Christopher Landon and starring David Harbour, Tig Notaro, Jahi Winston, Erica Ash, Jennifer Coolidge and Anthony Mackie.  It is based on the 2017 short story, "Ernest" by Geoff Manaugh and follows a family who moves into a new house that has a ghost, named Ernest. After discovering that their new home is haunted by Ernest, the son Kevin creates a YouTube channel and makes the ghost and his family Internet famous. However, when Kevin and Ernest start to uncover the truth about Ernest's past, they become a target of the CIA. The film is releasing on Netflix on February 24.
• Shazam: Fury of the Gods: a second trailer was released for the Shazam sequel which is based on the DC Comics character Shazam. It is directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, and stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren. In the film, a family of teenage heroes led by Billy Batson aka Shazam fight the Daughters of Atlas. The sequel of Shazam is releasing in theatres on March 17.

• The Mandalorian season 3: the third season of the Star Wars space Western series created by Jon Favreau. This was the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise when the first season was released in 2019. The series is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), and stars Pedro Pascal as the title character, a lone bounty hunter who goes on the run to protect the Force-sensitive child Grogu. This third season of The Mandalorian is premiering on Disney+ on March 1 and will consist of 8 episodes.
• Dear Edward: a new drama series developed by Jason Katims and based on the novel of the same name by Ann Napolitano. It stars Colin O'Brien as Edward Adler, the lone survivor of a plane crash that takes the lives of his family. He and others affected by the tragedy connect with one another to cope with their respective losses and pain. Also starring in the series are Connie Britton, Taylor Schilling and Amy Forsyth. It is premiering on February 3 on Apple TV+.
• Polite Society: a new action comedy film written and directed by Nida Manzoor in her feature film directorial debut and starring Ritu Arya and Priya Kansara in the lead roles. We follow Ria Khan who practises martial arts in order to become a stunt woman. When her sister drops out of art school and gets engaged, Ria decides she and her friends must pull off a wedding-heist. The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival on January 21 and will be released in theatres on April 7.
• Zeevonk (Sea Sparkle): a new Belgian drama film directed by Domien Huyghe in his directorial feature debut. It stars Saar Rogiers in the lead role as teenage girl Lena. When her father dies at sea in a shipwreck, she is determined to prove that a huge, unknown creature is roaming the deep. Also starring the film are Valentijn Dhaenens, Zouzou Ben Chickha and Hilde De Baerdemaeker. It promises to be a moving film to watch. Zeevonk is opening the Berlin International Film Festival in February and will be released in theatres on March 29.
• Scream 6: the sixth film in the Scream film series and a direct sequel to Scream from 2022. This slasher film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with original franchise writer and creator Kevin Williamson returning as executive producer. The film stars Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox, who are all reprising their roles from previous installments. Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori are joining the cast. The film continues with the survivors of the latest Ghostface killings, sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter and twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, leaving Woodsboro behind and starting a new chapter of their lives in New York City only to again be plagued by a streak of murders by a new Ghostface killer. Scream 6 is releasing in theatres March 10.

• You season 4 Part 1: the fourth season of the psychological thriller series is split in two parts with the first one coming to Netflix on February 9 and the second part on March 9. We got a new trailer for this first part which will follow Joe Goldberg again played by Penn Badgley. He is in London now after moving away from the US. Tati Gabrielle als reprises her role from the previous season as Marienne Bellamy. Lukas Gage, Charlotte Ritchie, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Ed Speleers are joining the main cast in this season. Joe will try to start over his life, but things won’t be that easy when someone is watching him. It’s going to be another crazy season full of twists and turns.
• Carnival Row season 2: the second and last season of the neo-noir fantasy series created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham, based on Beacham's unproduced film spec script, A Killing on Carnival Row. The series stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma, and Jared Harris. In the show, mythological beings must survive as oppressed refugees in human society as a detective works to solve murders. This second season, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 17, picks up where the first season left off, with the city of The Burgue still in turmoil following the events of the previous season. The tensions between the humans and the mythical creatures will grow until a war will break out.
• Beau is Afraid: a new surrealist comedy horror film written, directed, and produced by Ari Aster. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix as Beau, an incredibly neurotic man who must make a bizarre journey home to visit his mother. The film also features a supporting ensemble cast that includes Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, Amy Ryan, Kylie Rogers, Parker Posey, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Hayley Squires, Michael Gandolfini, Zoe Lister-Jones, and Richard Kind. Beau is Afraid is releasing in theatres on April 21.
• Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: the upcoming MCU movie following Ant-Man and the Wasp and the sequel to the other two Ant-Man movies. This superhero movie is based on the Marvel Comics featuring the characters Scott Lang aka Ant-Man and Hope Pym aka Wasp. The film is directed by Peyton Reed, written by Jeff Loveness, and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne alongside Jonathan Majors, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, David Dastmalchian, William Jackson Harper, Katy O'Brian, and Bill Murray. In the film, Ant-Man and the Wasp are transported to the Quantum Realm along with their family and face Kang the Conqueror. The movie is releasing in theatres on February 17 as the first film of Phase Five of the MCU.
• How I Met Your Father season 2: the second season of the sitcom which is a spin-off of How I Met Your Mother. The series stars Hilary Duff, Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Suraj Sharma, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Kim Cattrall. It follows the main character, Sophie, and her group of friends in Manhattan. As a framing device, Sophie, in the year 2050, recounts to her unseen son the events that followed meeting his father in January 2022, and how they ultimately had him. This second season of the sitcom is premiering on Hulu on January 24.
• True Spirit: a new drama movie based on a true story following Australian teenager Jessica Watson, played by Teagan Croft, who sailed all over the world on her own being the youngest person doing so. We follow her as she travels and tries to make her dream come true. The movie also stars Cliff Curtis, Josh Lawson and Anna Paquin. True Spirit is releasing on Netflix on February 3.
• Shotgun Wedding: a new romantic action comedy film directed by Jason Moore and written by Mark Hammer. The film stars Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel in the lead roles as Darcy and Tom. They plan their destination wedding in the Caribbean. However, things take a turn for the worse when their families arrive and the wedding party is taken hostage by a group of criminals. Darcy and Tom must put aside their differences and work together to save their loved ones and themselves. The movie also stars Sônia Braga, Jennifer Coolidge, Lenny Kravitz, and Cheech Marin. The movie is releasing in theatres on June 30.

• Lockwood and Co: a new detective thriller series written and directed by Joe Cornish and based on Jonathan Stroud's book series of the same name. The series will consist of eight episodes and will premiere on Netflix on 27 January. The series follows the adventures of a team of psychic investigators, as they uncover the truth behind ghostly occurrences in an alternate version of London. The series stars Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, Ali Hadji-Heshmati, Ivanno Jeremiah, Luke Treadaway, Morven Christie, Jemma Moore, Jack Bandeira, Ben Crompton, Hayley Konadu, Rhianna Dorris, Paddy Holland and Rico Vina. I hope this will get more than just one or two seasons because it really looks good.
• Your Place or Mine: a new rom-com movie written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna. It follows two long-distance best friends who change each other's lives when she decides to pursue a lifelong dream and he volunteers to keep an eye on her teenage son. They will swap houses for one life-changing week. Starring in the lead roles as Debie and Peter are Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kucher alongside Jesse Williams, Tig Notaro, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Rachel Bloom, Steve Zahn, Shiri Appleby, Griffin Matthews and Vella Lovell. The movie is releasing on Netflix February 10.
• Sharper: a new psychological thriller film directed by Benjamin Caron and written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. The film stars Julianne Moore, who also served as producer, alongside Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, Briana Middleton, and John Lithgow. Sharper is releasing in select cinemas on February 10 before releasing on Apple TV+ on February 17.
• Somebody I Used to Know: a new rom-com film directed by Dave Franco and starring Alison Brie, Jay Ellis and Kiersey Clemons. It will be released on Amazon Prime Video on February 10. On a trip to her hometown, workaholic Ally reunites with her ex-boyfriend Sean, which makes her question her life choices. This feeling is exacerbated when she meets Cassidy, a younger woman who reminds her of the person she used to be.
• Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret: a new coming-of-age comedy-drama film written and directed by Kelly Fremon Craig, based on the 1970 novel of the same name by Judy Blume. It stars Abby Ryder Fortson as the title character of Margaret Simon and Rachel McAdams as her mother Barbara. Also starring in the movie are Benny Safdie and Kathy Bates. We follow sixth-grader Margaret Simon and her family who move from New York City to the suburbs of New Jersey. Since one of her parents is Christian while the other is Jewish, she goes on a quest to discover her religious identity. The movie is releasing in theatres on April 28.
• Marlowe: a new neo-noir thriller film directed by Neil Jordan and written by William Monahan. It is based on the 2014 novel The Black-Eyed Blonde by John Banville, writing under the pen name Benjamin Black, and stars Liam Neeson as brooding private detective Philip Marlowe, a fictional character created by Raymond Chandler. The film also stars Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Danny Huston, Daniela Melchior, and Colm Meaney. It premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival last year and is releasing in theatres on February 15. Set in 1939 Los Angeles, we follow private detective Philip Marlowe who is hired to find the ex-lover of a glamorous heiress.
• Yellowjackets season 2: we got a first new teaser for the second season of this thriller drama series created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. It stars an ensemble cast led by Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty, Liv Hewson, and Courtney Eaton as a group of teenagers involved in a plane crash in 1996, with Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Lauren Ambrose, and Simone Kessell portraying their adult counterparts. In this second season we will hopefully get some more answers on what happened back then and what is happening now. The second season of Yellowjackets is premiering on Showtime on March 26. I really loved the first season and look forward to this second one.

• The Consultant: a new dark comedy workplace thriller series created by Tony Basgallop, based on the novel of the same name by Bentley Little. It’s coming on Amazon Prime Video on February 24.
• You People: a new buddy comedy movie directed by Kenya Barris, which he co-wrote with Jonah Hill. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lauren London, Sam Jay, Molly Gordon, Mike Epps, Nia Long, Deon Cole, Rhea Perlman, and David Duchovny. The movie is scheduled to be released on Netflix on January 27.
• Poker Face: the new murder mystery series from Rian Johnson and starring Natasha Lyonne in the lead role. It’s coming to Peacock on January 26.
• Renfield: a new vampire horror comedy movie directed by Chris McKay and starring Nicolas Hoult as the titular character, alongside Nicolas Cage, Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, and Adrian Martinez. The movie is releasing in theatres on April 14.
• Evil Dead Rise: a new supernatural horror film written and directed by Lee Cronin. This is the fifth installment in the Evil Dead film series and stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, and Nell Fisher. The story follows two estranged sisters trying to survive and save their family from demonic creatures. The movie is releasing in theatres on April 21.
